It's Time for Acts of Merit—Peer to Peer Helping for Tsogyal Latso

Today is Lha Bab Düchen, a million-multiplier-day in the karmic field!

According to the tradition of the Snowy Land, a manifest buddha must perform The Twelve Deeds, of which Descending from the Heavens (lhabab) is the second. As legend goes, one day, when the Buddha was living in Joyful Heaven as the deva, Sacred White Crown, he had a five-fold vision of the circumstances of his future birth in the Land of Jambu (our world). Knowing that the time was ripe, he left Joyful Heaven and entered his mother's womb. Through this Deed, he set off a chain of events that would bring inconceivable benefit to beings.

There's nothing to suggest that he did this for any reason other than "it was time". Similarly, without regard for herself, Yeshe Tsogyal endeavored—because "it was time". Today, the nuns of Tsogyal Latso are following in her footsteps, working tirelessly and generating merit for their enlightenment and that of all beings.

Please join them in an act of merit today.

In honor of Buddha's Descent from the Heavens, we invite you to start a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser for the Tsogyal Latso Murals Project. Your campaign will connect people to Yeshe Tsogyal and raise funds for the murals in her new temple, including a first-ever wall depicting her life story!

Our secure payment provider, FlipCause, allows you to build a personalized Peer-to-Peer campaign page in just a few simple steps.

Please click here to get started.

After creating your login, you will be able to personalize your campaign page with your own images, words and an optional fundraising goal. Feel free to make it your own.

When you're done, FlipCause will email you a link to share on social media or email to friends, sangha, groups, and colleagues. Here's what the design page looks like:

One more thing—the campaign closes in twelve days on November 22, so please start today on Lhabab Düchen!

Let's bring these beautiful murals into existence because—it's time! Thank you.
